Due to the success of last years typography pub quiz The Random Project has been asked to host another quiz for the end of the St. Brides annual conference.

Items from the Random Project participants were collected and
randomly distributed amongst 50 bags. Without viewing the contents
a buyer picked any bag at random for £3. In total 50 bags sold.

RANDOM POSTCARD EXHIBITION / APRIL 2007 / HOMESTEAD EC1

Random opened up the project and invited everyone to make
a postcard in response to a randomly generated word. The exhibition at
Homestead grew over the 2 week period as contibuters were invited to
make a response and then just pin it up. The project expanded to include
international contributions and through the aid of flickr was able to clock
a total of around 2000 entries. Contributors include, Ed Fella, Stefan
Stagmeister, Ralph Steadmen and Charles Dance.

We were asked to exhibit at the St. Brides annual conference. Due to the title of the conference a selection of postcards were chosen that related to the word 'British'.

WHO FOR: LDF 2006

The Random Project is a joint venture between myself, Sarah Hyndman and Becky Chilcott. Born out the the Experimental Typography course at LCC, taught by Sarah, this project initially started as an exhibition for the 2006 London Design Festival.
